Heeeeeey, wait a second...

Okay, okay, okay....WAIT A SECOND!

As I was skimming through old chapters of Zelda's Quest, I came across a conversation I was having with a whole bunch of you about THIS PAGE:



I said "One more page before I go on vacation. Lookie, it's Percy's mommy! Hey, wait a second? There's something familiar about her that I can't quite put my finger on..." In my comment, and you all started speculating.  Only one problem: I FORGOT WHAT THE CONNECTION WAS.

So, I moved on, you all moved on, and it disappeared behind other bombshell details, and out of all of our minds for a long time.

Until the other day when, AFTER 4 FREAKIN' YEARS, I finally remembered that seemingly tiny, insignificant detail about Percy and his mom.

The only significant clue I had given was in the comments, and I confused the heck out of myself with the clues that I was giving out.  The only good clue I gave was that it was "similar to the ending of a previous chapter."

Reading that comment, I reminded myself of the ending of Chapter 3, when Malon dropped the bombshell that she and Link were cousins.

Well, guess who else has a mother who is a sibling to Link and Malon's mom?

That's right: PERCY.

LINK, MALON, and PERCY are all 1st cousins.

*KABOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM*

(JUST LOOK AT HER HAIR...IT LOOKS LIKE MALON'S...AT LEAST IT DOES TO ME!  MAYBE IF I HAD DONE IT IN COLOR....)

Anyhoo, I have worked out the story of the mothers, and I'll probably post it once I do a portrait of all of them together.

Yeaaaaaaaaaaah, my brain works in mysterious ways...

I should probably head to bed now, school day tomorrow...
