Yeah, so, it's Wednesday, it's 10pm, I should be heading to bed as I am dragging and I'm sure I'm coming down with something (since the allergy medicine has done nothing but make my mouth ungodly dry and make me very, very sleepy).

I had planned to have a meeting with my parents tonight. I sent letters home a week ago about it, only to discover that though I sent them through mail, most of the parents didn't get it. So, I had a meeting with one parent and three of my student...not very productive. I realize I should have been more proactive: should have gotten the letters out sooner, should have called every single parent but didn't. So it's my fault.

Needless to say, I'm feeling a bit defeated. I mean, I should be feeling better, we had our first full chorus rehearsal today, and the songs are starting to come together (aka, most of the kids know their notes) So all I have to do now is work on phrasing, and dynamics, and proper pronunciation, etc. (It's all a bit overwhelming, but we do have till Dec. 10th). I have one academic class that's driving me batty...especially since it's not really 'academic'...I'm working with special needs high schoolers to give them a chance to get out of their classroom.

So, here I am, feeling down, not really caring, sleepy but not sleepy, watching stupid stuff and old reruns on TV and just feeling "meh".

So what do I do to cheer up?
