Hey guys, I thought you deserved a little update on my exploits. I have decided I need to invest in stock in pain killers, as my head has been pounding for days.

Honestly, I am feeling a bit like I am in way over my head. I think it's just 'cause I still have boxes to unpack and I meeting my kids on Monday and I haven't finished my lesson plans. I'm going crazy 'cause I'm doing everything on my home computer because they have been bogged down with a faulty internet connection at the school, so I still don't have my official log in information. Someone remind me again WHY I took a job in the middle of nowhere?

Anyhoo, I just wanted to let everyone know that yes, I HAVE FOUND MY SKETCH BOOK. >.> Took me long enough, I know. My hope is to have the next page of ZQ up tomorrow *covers ears from the cheering* though it might not be until Sunday *ducks under thrown objects* simply because I think I might take tomorrow to finish preparing for Monday and catching up on some much needed sleep.

So, things to answer. What was the first game I played on HD on my Wii. Duh, isn't it obvious? Twilight Princess. It's the ONLY game I've played, and the only time I played it is when I set my Wii up when I moved in. *long sigh* YES, I have been THAT BUSY.

So, the water heater story I promised. The first night in my new home, I turned on the water heater, went out with my family to have one last family meal, and came back. After I said goodbye, I took my shoes off and walked past the closet where the heater is kept and discovered the floor was wet. VERY WET. >.> Turns out the water heater had a faulty overflow valve, it was just spewing gallons and gallons of hot water all over the place. See, there's no basement, so the water heater is in a closet under the stairs. It had a plastic drum for collecting overflow water and letting drain safely away. Well, the house has been empty long enough that the plastic drum had gone brittle, so when the hot water hit it, it broke. That made it so the hot water didn't get to the drain, it went all over the floor. Yeah, so I had all the fun of calling my landlord in the middle of the night and trying to figure out how to shut the water off, and yeah...fun.

Anyhoo, it's only 11pm and I feel like I'm gonna pass out, so I think I'll end the stories there for today. I seriously need just a long night of sleep, one I won't be getting for a while.
